Astronaut Helmet Enamel Pin

$12.00

I designed this pin as a reminder to look up and enjoy the night sky during a time when I felt consumed by darkness. I am thankful for the family, friends, and strangers who are lights for me during those times.

But not everyone has a source of light. $3 from every pin sold will support the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which provides immediate counseling to those in mental health crisis.

You can interpret this pin in a number of ways. If you are an astronomer who is always hunched over your data, perhaps this pin can be a reminder of what drew you to study the stars in the first place. Perhaps you've been having a rough time of it and can only see the darkness that consumes you; this pin might be a reminder that there is a light out there waiting for you to see it. Or maybe you've had dreams of being an astronaut, and this pin reminds you to keep looking forward to those dreams. Maybe you just like space and don't really want to think about what this pin means. Anyway, while I designed this pin, I hope that you can make it yours.
